Days/Hours: Mondays-Fridays, 8-hour days. Flexibility in hours are allowed as long as the hours are between 7:00am-5:00pm.

The Team:
Our Inventory Team plays a vital role in ensuring the quality and timeliness of product provided to our customers – both internal and external. It is our responsibility to receive, inspect, organize and store components and manufactured parts, ensure correct parts are picked for production jobs, sustain accurate inventory through cycle counts and inventory process management, process non-conforming material, and maintain an organized and efficient warehouse.  

The Role:
The Product Conformity Specialist is a vital part of the Inventory Team.  This role is responsible for ensuring compliance and accuracy of purchased components, coordinating the containment and disposition of non-conforming material and other specialized inventory needs.  You will communicate with multiple departments, resolve issues, monitor trends and maintain accurate inventory movements. 

Responsibilities & Qualifications

You will spend your time:

  • Inspecting new components or revised products for conformity to prints
  • Review non-conforming product and maintain records in MRT database and business system
  • Complete disposition transactions
  • Maintain applicable Agency or compliance information for received product
  • Identify significant trends and areas of concern related to non-conforming material
  • Conduct specialized inventory processes such as rework/sorts/tear-downs
  • Collaborate on process improvement activities and corrective actions
  • Assist Inventory Team with part verification/counts/bin audits as required
  • Cross-train for departmental backup activity
  • Coordinate the containment of non-conforming material in the stockroom and on the production floor.
  • Distribute documentation for non-conforming material to appropriate individuals for review and dispositioning.
  • Complete disposition transactions in Epicor and IQS. 
  • Create necessary shipping documentation and coordinate the return of non-conforming material to suppliers.
  • Supplier Corrective Action initiation and follow up.
  • RoHS and other part number transfers.
  • Monthly Supplier Corrective Action Report analysis and RMA support.
  • Identify significant trends and areas of concern related to non-conforming material.
  • Collaborate on process improvement activities associated with non-conforming materials handling, record keeping and analysis.
  • Coordinate meetings with purchasing on a weekly basis to review the disposition for non-conforming materials.
  • Other duties as needed

  • A minimum of 3 years inventory, inspection, containment of parts, manufacturing or other related experience
  • Knowledge of ERP inventory management/control processes
  • Excel, Word, Access and Outlook experience
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Microsoft Office software knowledge (Excel, Word, Outlook)

 

Travel:

  • This position may travel between the RiverSide Lewiston and Winona facilities.
  • Infrequent travel for trainings and/or business needs may be required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, kneeling
  • Ability to walk, stand, and sit
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds
