Position Status: Part-Time

Shift/Hours: 1st Shift, Mondays-Thursdays; part-time can be flexible during the hours of 5:00am-3:00pm, as long as the hours are consistent week to week, and a minimum of 4 hours per day.

The Team: 
This role is a part of many different teams within our production department.  The General Assembler will interact with multiple people from various departments. 

The Role: 
This General Assembler position will support a variety of production departments within our Lewiston Facility.  This position will perform electrical assembly and sub-assembly processes, and/or operating machines as needed.  Part-time hours can be flexible during the hours of 5:00am-3:00pm, as long as the hours are consistent week to week, and a minimum of 4 hours per day.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

 You will spend your time:

  • Maintain clean and orderly workstations and equipment
  • Follow prescribed safety regulations
  • Complete tasks as designated by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision
  • Perform electrical assembly and sub-assembly processes using hand tools and electronic tools
  • Sitting and standing throughout the night
  • Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
  • May rotate to various workstations as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands:

  • Frequent lifting and moving of lightweight materials (0-10 lbs.) up to 50% of time worked
  • Must be able to lift up to 10-30 pounds, chest height up to 5% of time worked.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, bending, reaching and walking
