Check out these helpful FAQs or visit our site for more
Is RIS a quick-turn manufacturer?
No, RIS is focused on long-term production manufacturing. While we may occasionally support accelerated timelines for existing customers, we are not a quick-turn or one-off manufacturing provider.
Can RIS support both subassemblies and full product builds?
Yes, RIS supports printed circuit board assemblies, subassemblies, and full product or box builds. We work with our customers at the level that makes the most sense for their program, delivering consistent manufacturing whether we’re building a single assembly or a complete, production-ready product.
Is RIS a good fit for low- to mid-volume programs?
RIS focuses on mid- to high-volume production programs. Low-volume builds are generally not aligned with how our manufacturing operations are structured.
Does RIS provide product design or engineering services?
While RIS does not provide product design or design engineering services, our engineering team does support design for manufacturability (DFM), focused on refining manufacturing processes and test development, helping ensure products can be built consistently and reliably at scale while preserving the customer’s original design.
Does RIS assist with component sourcing and procurement?
Yes. As part of our Supply Chain Management services, RIS manages component sourcing and procurement to support consistent, reliable production.
Can RIS support fulfillment or distribution needs?
Yes. RIS offers fulfillment & distribution as one of our added-value services for customers. We can pick, pack, and ship directly to your end customers.
